Prince Harry could soon see his explosive memoir Spare reborn as a major Netflix mini-series, with insiders predicting it would be a global ratings hit.
A top Hollywood executive told Express UK, that Netflix is prepared to offer the Duke of Sussex “tens of millions of dollars” to oversee the adaptation personally, giving him full creative control.
“His company, Archewell Productions, would have almost total say in editing and tone,” the insider revealed.
“Netflix knows that giving Harry carte blanche is the only way he’d ever agree.”
While Penguin Random House, who published Spare, would be entitled to a share of the rights, the real payday could come from streaming profits.
“Even if he softens parts that upset the Royal Family, the mini-series would be a worldwide sensation,” the source added.
