'Frankenstein’ starring Mia Goth, Jacob Elordi sparks major debate

Guillermo del Toro’s new movie, Frankenstein, starring Jacob Elordi, Oscar Isaac and Mia Goth is out now on all global streaming platforms.

The Horror/Sci-fi is based on the novel of the same name by Mary Shelley and was published in 1817.

After a limited theatrical release on October 17, the movie is now available on Netflix and has sparked a major debate between the viewers.

The film that is defined as “visually stunning” and “Brilliant” has divided the lovers of the novel and the fans of the director.

With some thinking that the movie was beautifully portrayed, others have the opinion that Guillermo failed to do the justice to the captivating novel.

As soon as the movie was launched on Netflix, fans took to social media and stated the mixed reviews about the film.

One supporter of the director wrote, “Brilliant film. Stunning visuals..... Will watch again over the weekend.”

Another admirer chimed in, “I caught it at the London Film Festival and it's a lovely reminder of some of the old-fashioned craft of filmmaking.”

The critics also shared their thoughts about the movie which was filmmaker’s passion project.

One disappointed netizen also gushed, “I already watched this so boring, all talk no action or romance . 3,/10.”

For the unversed, the novel from the 1800s also goes by the name, The Modern Prometheus.
