Jacob Elordi 's shocking effort for 'Frankenstein'
Jacob Elordi recent movie is coming out on October 17
Jacob Elordi shocked his fans as he went above and beyond for his upcoming movie, Frankenstein.
The movie is set to be released in the cinemas on October 17, featuring Jacob, Oscar Isaac, and Mia Goth.
Directed by Guillermo del Toro, the story follows a scientist who experimented and made a creature and then threw that creature into the world.
Recently in an interview with E! News, the director talked about how the Euphoria star made extra efforts for his character without being asked for.
Guillermo revealed, “He took around 10 hours every day and about 42 pieces of makeup, prosthetics. And then he would have to work.”
He emphasized the fact that only the makeup to become the monster took 10 hours and then they would shoot endlessly.
“He did it all with grace and patience and love.” the 60-year-old added.
He exclaimed how much he appreciated the 28-year-old American actor and that after looking for three decades he finally found the perfect person who could do justice to the character.
The filmmaker continued further complimenting the artist’s performance, “The result is beautiful. It’s a really naked performance - emotionally so close to innocence that it breaks your heart."
It is to be noted that the fellow actor, Oscar also praised the process of turning into the monster, “He was so effortless. He never complained. He was in 10 hours of makeup every day.”
Oscar further mentioned that he was very impressed how Jacob would just show up and was so hard working.
For the unversed, before Jacob was casted, it was Andrew Garfield who was supposed to play Frankenstein’s monster but dropped the project due to schedule conflict.
