Taylor Swift surprised fans by attending the premiere of Toy Story 5 in Los Angeles.

The Cruel Summer singer recently contributed the song I Knew It, I Knew You to the movie’s soundtrack, making her attendance at the Dolby Theatre a fitting addition to the event, on Tuesday, June 10.

During the premiere, the Lover hitmaker spent time with members of the cast and was seen posing for photos alongside them.

She also carried an original Toy Story VHS tape and asked Tom Hanks to autograph it.

In an interview with USA Today, Hanks mentioned, “I didn’t get a selfie, but I did sign her original VHS of the first Toy Story. I told her she should have brought an original VHS machine and we could have signed it. And that could go in the Smithsonian as well.”

Earlier, the songstress opened up about creating music for the film, revealing that Jessie served as inspiration for the track.

“Writing this song felt like a musical departure and coming home at the same time. Creating something for Jessie was a new challenge and also felt like second nature all at once,” she shared on Instagram.

The singer also described being a lifelong fan of the franchise, saying it “is an adventure I plan to be on, to infinity and beyond.”

Notably, the upcoming animated movie, Toy Story 5, will hit theaters globally on June 19, 2026.
