Tom Holland has addressed the ongoing rumours surrounding Sadie Sink's mysterious role in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
Speaking recently, the British actor revealed that Jean Grey is not part of the upcoming film.
The actor made the comments during an interview with Brazilian content creator Natalia Kreseur while promoting the superhero movie.
When asked if Jean Grey could help MJ, played by Zendaya, regain her memories of Peter Parker, the 30-year-old replied, "Well, she's not in this movie, but it would be pretty cool."
The speculation around Jean Grey began after Sink joined the cast of Brand New Day.
Since then, fans have been guessing about her role, with many rumours linking her to the famous X-Men character.
The mystery around Sink’s role has also become part of the movie’s promotion.
However, in a recent promotional clip, she cleared up some speculations about her role, joking that she is not Spider-Man, nor Aunt May, but is in the film.
Notably, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day is coming to theaters on July 31, 2026.
