Ariana Grande has opened up about her journey with music, with the heartbreaking remarks that she didn’t feel motivated enough in her craft, but things have definitely changed for the better.
The we can’t be friends (wait for your love) singer talked about how embarking on her role as Glinda in Wicked made her fall back in love with music, recently adding that a new management team has also helped.
In a New York Times profile put out on November 5th, Ariana stated, “I think it got away from me in a way I didn’t expect. There’s a thing that comes along with your dreams coming true that feels dangerous at times… Nothing prepares you for what comes with it.”
She continued, “Until quite recently, it was hard for me to navigate and I think it stripped a lot of joy out of this for me. And by the way, I have a different team now. Said with love, but that was a piece,” hinting at Scooter.
Notably, the two-time Grammy winner will be going on her Eternal Sunshine tour in June of 2026, after last performing live in 2019.
