Prince William, who is the heir apparent to the British throne, is doing all he can to prepare for his time as king.
A royal expert has expressed her opinion saying William has seemingly all but taken over the Crown from his cancer-stricken father.
After Charles acceded to the throne on September 8, 2022, after the death of his mother Queen Elizabeth II, he was soon diagnosed with cancer.
As per royal expert Maureen Callahan, William is maing “making power moves”.
His power is explained to th extent that he is “already leading the Royal family”, as reported by Daily Mail.
However, William is doing all this with the “intent on preserving the realm.”
Maureen also believes that Charles has “all but handed over the crown”.
She further explained Charles’ decision to do so saying “he would prefer, as is his constitution, not to be embroiled in these messes, even as they pose existential threats to the future of the monarchy.”
As per the commentator, it has happened during the Andrew crisis when Charles was left to take some decisive steps against his brother.
Many believe William was “architect” of Andrew’s fall as he wanted to send a clear message that “wanted to send a message: the monarchy is moving forward, and Andrew isn’t part of it.”
