Kate Middleton caught on last-minute Halloween costume run for kids

Kate Middleton proved she’s just like the rest of us when she made a last-minute trip to Sainsbury’s to grab Halloween costumes for Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

The Princess of Wales was spotted back in 2019 making the relatable dash to the supermarket in Hardwick Industrial Estate, Norfolk, accompanied by her children and discreet royal security. 

Fellow shopper Kathy Whittaker, who witnessed the moment, told reporters: “She was with Charlotte and George looking at Halloween outfits… you just don’t expect it! I thought she’d shop at Harrods!”

Kate reportedly asked her children what they wanted to dress up as before using the self-checkout tills, a refreshingly normal moment for the future Queen.

It wasn’t the first time the Princess was seen shopping locally. 

She’s previously been spotted browsing in The Range and another Sainsbury’s branch near Anmer Hall, the family’s countryside home gifted by Queen Elizabeth II.
