Sarah Ferguson is feeling trapped in the ongoing drama where she could lose her home of two decades.
After Andrew renounced his royal titles, the UK Parliament raised question of the former couple living at the Royal Lodge for two decades without paying rent.
It has been reported that the pair is in talks to vacate the residence, however Andrew is hesitant to leave.
The former Duke of York paid £1 million for a 75-year lease and will legally have it till 2078.
As the idea of launching an inquiry into the matter was backed by the UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, Andrew himself is refusing to leave because he sees it as “unfair”.
Andrew has reiterated that all accusations imposed on him are false which makes him feel unfairly treated.
“Andrew’s digging his heels in. Eviction would cost the crown a considerable severance fee – but it’s not about money. Andrew doesn’t think he’s deserving of such harsh treatment,”, a source told Closer Magazine.
However, the situation as made Fergie feel trapped ans she is just “desperate to get away”.
“She’s very lost – fighting with Andrew makes things even more miserable.”, the source claimed.
As the eviction is inevitable, it is difficult to point where they will move afterwards.
