Meghan Markle is subtly, but strategically, moving further away from her royal roots, according to PR insiders.
As she continues to expand her lifestyle empire As Ever, experts say the Duchess of Sussex is “repositioning herself as a self-made entrepreneur” rather than a royal figure.
PR guru Dermot McNamara said, per Express UK: “By doing her own make-up and showing it online, Meghan’s positioning herself as relatable, hands-on and creative, all traits that resonate with beauty audiences in 2025. Fans buy into personality as much as product, and Meghan is taking ownership of both.”
McNamara added that her casual behind-the-scenes videos, minimal branding, and references to her “signature glow” show she’s “completely in tune with the American consumer.”
Earlier this month, Meghan attended the Balenciaga fashion show during Paris Fashion Week, later sharing a chic BTS video.
She’s also been spotted alongside Emma Grede, the powerhouse behind Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS, fuelling speculation about future collaborations.
