The two princesses who are the only two granddaughters of the King of Britain, Charles III, share a trait despite their distance.

Princess Lilibet was born to Duke and Duchess of Sussex in 2021, six years after the birth of Princess Charlotte, who was born to Prince William and Kate Middleton in 2015.

In 2017, before Harry and Meghan’s royal wedding, Kate made a visit to the Hornsey Road Children's Centre in London, where she told six-year-old Neveah that Charlotte’s favourite colour is pink.

Recently, Meghan revealed Lilibet’s favourite colour is also pink which is not shocking as the young princess is often seen dressed in the colour.

In a clip posted on Meghan’s account for International Day of the Girl, the 4-year-old can be seen dressed in pink pyjamas.

On her Netflix show, With Love, Meghan, the Duchess said “Lili loves pink, and now I can just stay in a world of ombre pinks and call it a day.”

While the Sussexes moved to US in 2020, where Lilibet was born, their connection to the royal family still binds them.

The Sussex children have not met their cousins but it is inevitable that they will always be related to them.
