Prince Philip was ‘appaled’ by Sarah Ferguson

Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson are living through a tough phase as they have lost their royal titles and now are close to losing their home of two decades.

The former couple have been residing at the Royal Lodge for two decades even after they got divorced in 1996.

The living situation was particularly seen as “truly bizarre” by Sarah’s father-in-law Prince Philip.

The former Duke and Duchess of York hve had their fair share of controversies that have left the royal family in a sticky situation.

Notably, Sarah’s intimate pictures with Texan billionaire John Bryan left the royals shocked.

Prince Philip was “appaled” by the scandal despite his warm welcome to Sarah in 1986 when she got married to his son Andrew.

Royal writer Gyles Brandreth said while writing for Daily Mail that Prince Philip expressed his true feelings about his former daughter-in-law in a conversation with him.

When asked why he did not see Fergie, Philip replied “I am not vindictive, but I don't see the point.”

It was also reported that the former duchess tried to mend things with Philip but his fury never cooled down till he passed away in 2021.
