Prince Andrew and his former wife Sarah Ferguson’s ongoing crisis has left their daughters in an awkward position.
The former duke announced he will be renouncing his titles voluntarily after facing multiple accusations and his ties with convicted felon Jeffrey Epstein embroiled him in drama.
While the former pair has lost their titles, they still face heavy public scrutiny as they are also reportedly close to losing their residence of two decades, the Royal Lodge.
In the midst of all this, their daughters, Beatrice and Eugenie, are said to be struggling with the fallout.
It comes at a time when it has been reported that the two royals will retain their titles and will attend the royal family’s festivities as planned.
As per Closer magazine, the two are still very upset about their parents’ past connections to Jeffrey Epstein.
“Eugenie and Beatrice are very upset. They’ll always love their parents, but processing the fact they were so friendly with Epstein is difficult”, the source revealed.
“It’s shaping up to be a miserable Christmas – even now, there’s an ominous sense that even more scandal is just around the corner.”, the source added.
The sisters believe they will be left in an awkward position at the royal events they will attend without their parents.
