Kate Middleton breaks silence amid Prince Andrew scandal with heartfelt message

Kate Middleton has brushed aside the latest royal controversy involving Prince Andrew to share a positive new message, celebrating an “exciting new chapter” for England’s rugby team.

The Princess of Wales, 43, took to the official Kensington Palace X account on Saturday to wish England luck ahead of their first Rugby League Ashes Test against Australia in 22 years.

As patron of both the Rugby Football Union (RFU) and Rugby Football League (RFL), Kate wrote: “Wishing England the very best of luck in their first Rugby League Ashes campaign in 22 years."

"An exciting new chapter for the game begins at Wembley Stadium today. We are all behind you! — C.”

Kate’s upbeat message comes as the Royal Family faces renewed scrutiny following Andrew’s decision to relinquish his royal titles and honours last week amid fallout from Virginia Giuffre’s posthumous memoir.
