Halloween: From Diana to Prince Harry, here are some of the spookiest royal costumes

It’s Halloween and everyone loves to dress up fancy and spook the living day lights out of those around him. And while it started as the one of the biggest American holidays, the event has taken over the entire globe now, even the British royal family!

With folks all over the world get excited to celebrate the Halloween, the royals too take the holiday quite seriously and dress their best for the spooky day.

Prince Charles and Princess Diana sported traditional Klondike outfits to attend a Klondike evening barbeque during a 1983 visit Canada. The Princess of Wales looked elegant in an elaborate white number and matching fascinator, while Charles suited up and accessorized his look with a cane.

The Duke of Sussex often opted for a police officer and army soldier costume and in 1986 he paired up with his brother to form a two-man military for Halloween. The next year, Prince Harry dressed as a red goblin for his nursery school Nativity play.

The now Duchess of Cambridge too had some wild pre-royal looks from back in the day. In 2007, Kate Middleton wore a black vampire outfit paired with a cape, fishnet stockings and boots, making her a spooky character quite appealing. She followed up next year with a sequined flashy top and pair of yellow shorts to a 2008 Day-Glo Midnight Roller Disco event in London.

Prince Harry and Meghan didn’t dress up themselves, but they were surrounded by amazing costumes during their tour of New Zealand in 2018.

Queen Elizabeth's granddaughter Princess Beatrice sported a purple wig and whimsical unicorn horn in 2018 for a Halloween costume party at Annabel's in London.

Princess Madeleine of Sweden shared this adorable family snap of her three children during Halloween 2018. The royal mum was dressed as a cat, complete with ears and painted on whiskers, while daughter Princess Leonore looked cute in a pastel mermaid outfit and son Prince Nicolas donned a Batman costume.

Prince Andrew and Fergie also got dressed up during their first official tour together to Canada in 1987.
