Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have become the subject of a cheeky swipe in the trailer for The Real Housewives of London.
The preview, released on July 15, shows cast member Panthea Parker plotting to ask King Charles about his relationship with the Sussexes during what appears to be a Buckingham Palace garden party.
“I’m going to go, ‘How do you feel about Harry and what he did?’” Panthea jokes from a car en route to the event.
Her husband, British lawyer Ed Parker, quickly cuts in: “It says, specifically, ‘Do not ask the monarch about Harry and Meghan,’” reading from a pamphlet with mock seriousness.
The timing couldn’t be more perfect, as reports swirl of a potential reconciliation between Harry and Charles after senior aides from both camps held a secret meeting in London last week.
Despite ongoing tensions since Harry and Meghan’s royal exit in 2020, this playful jab highlights just how much their drama remains pop culture fodder.
The Real Housewives of London will premiere on Hayu on August 18, following six wealthy women as they navigate London’s elite circles.
Comedian Katherine Ryan, 41, will host the highly anticipated reunion special, calling it “a dream opportunity.”
With Harry and Meghan’s royal drama back in the headlines, fans can expect plenty more shade when the series drops.
