Kate Middletons Wimbledon appearances spark viral call for new tradition

Royal fans are demanding a new tradition at Wimbledon, one that revolves around Kate Middleton.

The Princess of Wales, 43, made a stunning return to the tournament this year, attending both the women’s and men’s finals last weekend.

As patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, Kate presented champions Iga Swiatek and Jannik Sinner with their trophies, earning cheers from the crowd.

But what really stole the spotlight was the crowd’s outpouring of affection.

Fans spontaneously shouted “We love you Kate!” on Saturday, followed by another loud “I love you Kate!” on Sunday, leaving the Princess visibly beaming.

Now, royal watchers want this to become a permanent fixture.

“I so hope this becomes a thing,” one fan posted on X.

Another added: “This will be THE trend I look forward to every year!”

While Kate attended solo on Saturday, she brought Prince William, 43, and their two eldest children, Prince George, 11, and Princess Charlotte, 10, to the men’s final on Sunday. Their youngest, Prince Louis, seven, stayed home.

With videos of the sweet moments going viral online, fans are calling for this heartfelt tribute to the beloved royal to become a cherished Wimbledon tradition.
