Nicki Minaj, also known as the Queen of Rap, recently took her words back after announcing that she is releasing a new album.
The 42-year-old songstress announced last month that her new record will be launched in March 2026, excited, the fans showered her with love.
But recently she took a step back and said she won’t be releasing the album any time soon and blamed the singer, Jay-Z for her decision.
The fans were shocked to hear the sad news since they have been waiting for her to drop a banger after the release of Pink Friday 2 in 2023.
They took to social media to show their disappointment in the Trinidadian songwriter.
One of the sad fans wrote, “Perhaps the living embodiment of washed. Honestly sad to see the way she fell off entirely.”
The news follows after her recent feud with Cardi B where she commented on the WAP hitmaker’s new album, Am I The Drama’s promotional price, which led to social media attacks back and forth.
Some followers of Nicki thought, her announcing the album might be fake, and it is a strategy to overshadow Cardi’s new album.
One online user pointed out, “She is so pathetic announcing an album just to try and overshadow Cardi.”
Another person added, “it was never about making an album. It was just about being spiteful.”
A few dissatisfied Redditors also think that there was never an album to begin with, and it was all a lie.
“Easy to cancel an album that was probably never started in the first place, lol,” a person concluded.
