Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie have stepped back into the spotlight together, opening up about motherhood and family life while their father, Prince Andrew, faces renewed scrutiny over his ties to Jeffrey Epstein.
The York sisters attended a star-studded fundraising gala hosted by Lauren Silverman and Saskia Johnston for the Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity (GOSH) at the Great Tew estate in Oxfordshire.
Speaking to Hello! magazine, Beatrice said, “The most amazing thing about GOSH is that they deliver such wonderful medical care to these children. After having my own children, you recognise that focusing on children’s health is the most important thing.”
Eugenie echoed her sister’s sentiment, adding: “Having two children of my own, you see how much it changes you as a person. Supporting families with unwell children means more to me than ever.”
Their heartfelt comments come as their father, the Duke of York, is once again caught in controversy after a newly surfaced 2011 email appeared to show him telling Epstein, “We are in this together,” despite claiming to have cut contact the previous year.
Prince Andrew, 65, has vehemently denied all allegations and maintains his innocence.
