Prince William and Kate Middleton looked more in love than ever during a surprise visit to Northern Ireland, delighting locals with their warmth, laughter, and playful banter.
The Prince and Princess of Wales’ secret day trip saw them touring the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service’s new training college in Cookstown, Co Tyrone, where they hopped aboard a fire engine, tested out rescue drills, and shared plenty of giggles along the way.
Kate, radiant in a bespoke forest-green Alexander McQueen coat and matching brown suede boots, couldn’t resist joking about taking the wheel herself.
“I’d love to drive at the real speed and have the sirens on,” she reportedly quipped, prompting laughter from William and the crew.
The royal couple then watched firefighters in action at one of only two flood rescue simulators in the world, before attempting to throw lines into the fast-moving water.
Their romantic day continued with a visit to Mallon Farm, where Kate helped process flax for linen using a 1940s machine she likened to “a hairbrush.”
