Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly preparing to “strategise a peace deal” with the Royal Family, amid growing signs that tensions between the Sussexes and the Firm could finally be easing.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who have remained largely estranged from their royal relatives since 2025, are said to be taking steps to rebuild bridges behind the scenes.
According to Page Six, the couple are “ready to open the door” to reconciliation, not as working royals, but as family.
A source told the outlet, “They need the [Royal] Family. Meghan is aware of that.”
The insider added that while Meghan understands Harry will never return to royal duties, she supports his desire to reconnect with his father, King Charles III, on a personal level.
The reported shift comes shortly after the Sussexes were honoured as Humanitarians of the Year at a high-profile mental health gala in New York City, where they championed family unity and online safety for children.
Harry’s recent visit to the UK, his first meeting with his father in 19 months, is said to have taken place with Meghan’s “full blessing,” suggesting a new chapter could be on the horizon.
