Nicole Kidman admits feeling ‘nervous’ appearing first post-divorce

Academy Award-winning actress Nicole Kidman admitted feeling a bit nervous before making her first appearance at Paris Fashion Week amid her ongoing divorce from Keith Urban.

The actress was joined by her daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14.

Taking Vogue behind the scenes ahead of the Oct. 6 Chanel Spring/Summer 2026 show, the Oscar winner said, “I’m just very nervous.”

“I have my daughters coming with me, but I’m very excited for [creative director] Matthieu [Blazy] because this is a big moment for him,” she continued. “To be able to celebrate him with his first show with Chanel and the beginning of an incredible journey together is exciting.”

The Big Little Lies actress, styled by Jason Bolden, stepped out in cashmere jeans and a crisp white button-up shirt, a look she described to Vogue as “very chic and simple, understated in a way, but luxe.”

The appearance also marked what her hairstylist, Adir Abergel, dubbed her “new bang era.”

Just days after filing for divorce from Urban following 19 years of marriage, Kidman not only made a public appearance but also debuted a striking new hair transformation, signaling a fresh chapter in her style evolution.

“We pulled references from the early 1970s, think soft texture, lived-in movement, and that iconic French-girl nonchalance,” Abergel said in a press release, describing her look as an overall “fresh cut.”
