Will Prince William make a good king? New poll reveals what Brits think

Prince William may still be years away from the throne, but royal fans are already confident he’ll make a great monarch.

The 43-year-old Prince of Wales, who currently supports over 400 charities and organizations, topped a new Express readers’ poll asking whether he’ll make a good King, and the results were overwhelmingly in his favour.

Between October 3 and 6, more than 11,000 readers cast their votes. A massive 89 percent (9,920 people) said they believe William will make a good King. 

Just eight percent disagreed, while three percent remained undecided.

Supporters flooded the comments with praise for the future monarch. One fan wrote: “He comes across as a thoroughly decent chap, and I wish him every success with his kingship.”

Another added: “William and Catherine will be a 2.0 version of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip.”

A third echoed Princess Diana’s words, recalling how she once described her eldest son as “compassionate and strong.”
