Bad Bunny has previously addressed not performing in America due to a fear of the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement targeting him, and his concerns have just been validated.

The Me porto bonito singer has been revealed to be the performer at the 2026 Super Bowl, which would be his only upcoming show in the States but the President’s former campaign manager Corey Lewandowski has issued a warning.

In an appearance on Benny Johnson’s web interview series The Benny Show, the political commentator asked the author if ICE would be there at the event.

“There is nowhere you can provide safe haven to people who are in this country illegally. Not the Super Bowl and nowhere else. We will find you and apprehend you and put you in a detention facility and deport you,” Lewandowski stated.

“Know that is a very real situation under this administration, which is contrary to how it used to be,” he said, adding “It’s so shameful they’ve decided to pick somebody who seems to hate America so much to represent them at the Halftime Show.”

Lewandowski emphasized that homeland security does not care who it is and that they will ensure that Americans are safe and that those that are in the country illegally, go away.

Does Bad Bunny hate America?

Bad Bunny has said that he does not hate the United States or its audience, but was concerned about ICE being outside his concerts.
