Taylor Swift may not have been the bride, but she certainly stole the spotlight at Selena Gomez’s fairytale wedding to Benny Blanco over the weekend.

The 35-year-old Cruel Summer superstar was among the glittering guest list, and her presence left a lasting impression on those lucky enough to share the moment.

Selena’s on-screen dad from Wizards of Waverly Place, David DeLuise, gushed that one of his top highlights was chatting with Taylor herself.

Speaking on his wife Julia DeLuise’s Instagram Story, the actor confessed: “If I have to say one [great moment], it’s being around Taylor. She’s just amazing. The energy that was popping off of her.”

Julia was equally enchanted, describing the pop icon’s arrival as nothing short of heavenly.

“It was like the heavens opened up and an angel descended,” she said, recalling how the Bad Blood hitmaker walked over to join their group, which also included Wizards co-star Jennifer Stone.

Notably, the ceremony itself was no less magical.

The 53-year-old actor admitted he was “crying the whole time” during the vows, especially when the curtain opened to reveal a breathtaking sunset.

“It was as if they were like, ‘Don’t worry. Cue the sun!’” he joked, while the 45-year-old voice actress teased: “The sunset was fake, right?”

For the unversed, Selena tied the knot with long-time beau Benny in a stunning California ceremony on Saturday, September 28.

Taking to her social media the next day, the Calm Down singer announced her wedding by posting polaroid photos of herself with her husband.
