The So You Think You Can Dance alum Joshua Allen has passed away at 36-years-old, and his cause of death is unexpected.
After reports broke out of his sudden death on September 30th, a family member of the Step Up 3D featured dancer has revealed that it was an accident.
As per TMZ, the Footloose remake actor was struck and killed by a train and their family has asked for "privacy and prayers" from fans.
The American actor breathed his last in a hospital in Texas, and the Fort Worth Police Department has noted that the death investigation is ongoing.
"One of the last things he said was to keep God first at all times. You have to be real with yourself before you can be real with anybody else,” said his family of his final conversation.
Meanwhile a friend of Joshua’s, Emmanuel Hurd, who is also a choreographer paid a social media tribute to the deceased.
“You were the life of the party. You were Batman. Champion. One of the realest people I ever met,” he wrote in an Instagram post.
Notably, Joshua’s final post on his social media was a tribute to Malcolm-Jamal Warner, who passed away as a result of drowning in Costa Rica.
Joshua won So You Think You Can Dance in 2008 on its fourth season, with the cash prize being $250,000.
