Ben Stiller's wife, Christine Taylor, has finally opened up about the past and how she has endured "challenging" years with him.
The couple have been together for almost 26 years now but had to put their relationship on hold for crucial reasons.
Now looking back at the split, that took place in 2017 because they were not aligned and had the same visions at that time, the actress has disclosed how they found their way back to each other again.
In a candid conversation with the host, Josh McBride for his podcast, McBride Rewind podcast, Christine confessed that the parting was "very difficult" for them.
She stated, "I think at that moment in time, for us we weren't on the same page with a lot of things,"
The 54-year-old added, "It was not without a heavy heart and feeling really, even, dejected at the time. This is not how I imagined it was going to be."
Christine revealed that despite the breakup, they were deeply connected because of their two children and, in COVID, they found themselves spending more time with each other.
At that point, rather than letting go, they worked hard to resolve the issues because they had "a lot" of time.
"We all kind of bubbled up together with our kids, We all kind of bubbled up together with our kids,"
The American actress also continued that they took therapy sessions online via Zoom to work on themselves, which caused the them to "really found the way back,"
It is to be noted that the love birds share two children, one daughter Ella, who is now 24-year-old, and 20-year-old son Quinlin.
