Jennifer Lopez’s ‘unexpected chemistry’ with mystery man leaves fans guessing

Jennifer Lopez and Brett Goldstein are reportedly sharing a “flirty energy” both on and off screen, as romance rumours swirl around their new Netflix project Office Romance.

The 56-year-old superstar stars opposite the 45-year-old actor and co-writer in the upcoming raunchy romcom.

She plays CEO Jackie Cruz, who falls for her employee Daniel Blanchflower. 

And according to insiders, the chemistry didn’t stop when the cameras cut.

A source told PEOPLE: “Her flirty energy with Brett is genuine. She really likes him.”

However, those close to Jennifer say she’s not rushing into anything serious after her high-profile divorce from Ben Affleck. 

For the unversed, the pair finalised their split in 2025, two years after marrying in August 2022.

Despite the buzz, insiders insist Anaconda actress is happily embracing single life for now.

“Jennifer is in a great place on her own right now though and doesn’t need a relationship to feel happy,” the source added. 

“She is enjoying her life as it is. She’s busy with work, family and the people closest to her.”

They also said she “had a great time filming” and is “excited for people to see the movie.”

On The Floor hitmaker, who shares twins Max and Emme with ex-husband Marc Anthony, has also recently opened up about the awkward reality of on-screen kisses.

Selena star admitted that she still gets nervous filming romantic scenes, even after decades in Hollywood.

But it seems Office Romance was different. 

Jennifer has praised Goldstein’s unexpected charm, admitting she initially expected him to be more like his Ted Lasso character.

Instead, she found him “kind, gentle and very sweet”, and later even went as far as calling him the “best kisser” she’s ever worked with during a recent TV appearance.
