Diddy partner Clive Davis ends up in hospital due to shocking issue

Clive Davis, who is known for his role in shaping careers of several musicians, was rushed to hospital as he faced an unexpected health issue.

The 94-year-old record producer ended up in New York City hospital on Friday evening.

It was revealed to a source of TMZ that the music mogul is currently “suffering from an upper respiratory infection.”

According to the report, he has been admitted out of caution and is expected to be discharged from the medical facility in the next 24 hours.

However, this is not his first health emergency as Clive was previously diagnosed with Bell ’s palsy in February 2021.

The record producer is credited for moulding the careers of musicians, including Aretha Franklin, Kelly Clarkson, Whitney Houstan and others.

He co-founded Bad Boy Records with disgraced music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is currently serving prison time for his partial verdict in sex trafficking and racketeering case.

Were Diddy and Clive Davis close?

The two had a close professional relationship as Diddy crowned him for being one of the first executives to put their trust in him.

Clive, who helped the company in getting major artists to sign, earned the milestone of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2000 in the non-performers category.
