Diddy has been serving his partial verdict in the sex trafficking and racketeering case as he stays imprisoned in a low-security jail.

The disgraced music mogul was remembered by The Super Mario Galaxy as he was spotted in the credits list at the end of the movie.

It was reported that the record producer was mentioned for his contributions in song Hypnotize by The Notorious B.I.G as a co-writer. He produced the track in late 1996.

The song was originally released on March 4, 1997 when Diddy was widely known as Puff Daddy.

One of the X users expressed their disapproval on the move and speculated that the movie will “fail to make $1 billion,” while another stated they will wait till April Fool’s day ends.

It is to be noted that Diddy worked on the song and the moviemakers are compelled to credit the tracks due to music rights.

Moreover, fans raised questions on another track that caught their attention, EGG PLANT (Party Mix), calling it out for being inappropriate for the animation.

When is The Super Mario Galaxy Movie coming out?

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is all set to hit the theatres this week on April 1, 2026.
