Rapper Young Thug has left the internet both in stitches and scratching its head after a bizarre cameo on streamer Adin Ross’ Kick broadcast.
The 33-year-old shocked viewers when he suddenly appeared clutching a bottle of baby oil before loudly declaring “Free Diddy” in support of Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is due to be sentenced later this week on prostitution-related charges.
For those unfamiliar, the 55-year-old disgraced music mogul was convicted on two counts of arranging interstate travel for prostitution earlier this year.
Clips of the surreal moment spread like wildfire across X (formerly Twitter), with fans torn between laughter, disbelief and criticism.
“That’s not funny. Stop watching these people,” one user fumed.
Another quipped: “Not the baby oil entrance, Young Thug different fr.”
A third added: “Why do all washed rappers transition to Diddy supporters and baby oil jokes?”
Ross, 23, looked just as stunned as his audience, staring in disbelief as Thug casually strutted into frame.
The “baby oil entrance” quickly became a trending topic, sparking heated debate over whether the stunt was satire, misguided loyalty or simply a grab for attention.
Combs, who has been held at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center since his arrest in September 2024, faces up to 20 years behind bars.
He is set to learn his fate this Friday, October 3, when sentencing takes place in Manhattan.
