Candice King and Steven Krueger have officially tied the knot, marking a new chapter in their relationship.
Reports suggested that the Vampire Diaries and The Originals stars married in February at The Chapel at High Point Farm in Tennessee.
According to Vogue, the duo had been planning a larger Nashville wedding with family and friends later in the year, but opted to change course after finding out they were expecting.
“We decided to have a small elopement-style weekend in Nashville with just our immediate families, and save the bigger celebration for sometime next year,” the Yellowjackets star told outlet.
"We had 15 people in total, including Candice’s daughters and my two nieces. And it was perfect," Kruger added, as she explained, "The most stressful part was making sure the family felt taken care of and could get from point A to point B — which is true whether you’re eloping with 15 guests or managing a crowd of 200.”
The pair kept their focus on the essentials, with Krueger noting, “We focused on the essential trifecta: photos, flowers, and food.”
Moreover, Kruger added, “Shockingly, there’s not a huge market for wedding dresses that fit over a baby bump,” she joked to the publisher. “I was quite nervous to find a dress that would make me feel bridal...down the aisle,” she added.
For the unversed, the couple first encountered each other through their work on The Originals and made their relationship public in late 2023, later announcing their engagement in May 2025.
