Taylor Swift ‘overshadowing’ Olivia Rodrigo’s album with wedding date?

Taylor Swift and Olivia Rodrigo’s fandoms are at odds once again after a report about the former’s nuptials date with fiancée Travis Kelce went viral on social media.

The two singers’ have been rumoured to have a strained relationship after the Vampire singer gave songwriting credits to the 14-time Grammy winner, Jack Antonoff and St. Vincent for interpolating Cruel Summer with Déjà vu.

Since then the popstars have speculated to have professional tension and public distance, until they were recently spotted standing near each other at Paul McCartney’s concert, which made fans think that their bond had repaired.

As per a recent report by Harper’s Bazaar however, Taylor and Travis have set their wedding date for June 13, which sounded alarms in the minds of Olivia’s fans.

The 23-year-old had recently announced that her third studio album You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love would be releasing on June 12.

One internet user took to X to write, “on olivia's album release day? she's not a girl's girl,” as another added, “it won't be her first time (nor her last) trying to take the spotlight from other girlies we should talk about this.. katy billie charli and now Olivia.”

Notably, other netizens defended Taylor by bringing up the fact that the wedding won’t affect the album’s performance and that the date had been leaked a while ago.
