JoJo Siwa sparks marriage buzz with Chris Hughes update

JoJo Siwais getting swept up in a wave of “wedding fever” following a recent family celebration, while reflecting on her own relationship status.

The 22-year-old entertainer, who has been dating Chris Hughes for nearly a year, opened up about the milestone during an appearance at the Snappy Awards Show.

In an interview with People, she shared, “Of course, it gave me the wedding vibes.”

She continued, "I mean, obviously our relationship’s very new. We’re creeping up on our one-year anniversary. So we’re getting there, but we’ve got time."

Moreover, she added, "And obviously, I think that marriage is, of course, in Chris‘ hands, and so when he feels the time is right, I’ll be ready. Maybe. I’m just kidding."

For the unversed, the duo first met each other during Celebrity Big Brother UK last year, and their relationship began shortly afterward.

Revisiting their time together, she noted, “It’s been the best year ever, and it’s only gonna go up from here,” while also hinting at how they might mark their upcoming anniversary.

“We don’t have plans yet. Surely we’ll celebrate somehow. Hopefully, we get to be together. And if not, we’ll celebrate while we’re apart.”

She further described Hughes as “my person.”

The couple previously made their red carpet debut at the Dancers Against Cancer’s 2025 Gala of the Stars in Beverly Hills.
