Prince William has opened up in a rare and emotional TV interview, admitting he deeply misses his late grandparents, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip.
The Prince of Wales, 43, shared his heartfelt reflections during a special episode of The Reluctant Traveller with Hollywood star Eugene Levy, filmed at Windsor Castle.
Standing in the King’s Drawing Room overlooking the historic grounds, William said: “For me, Windsor is her. She loved it here; she spent most of her time here.”
The future King explained that Windsor held a special place in his grandmother’s heart because her beloved horses were kept at the Royal Mews nearby.
When asked if he still thinks about her, William admitted: “I do miss my grandmother, and my grandfather. It’s been quite a bit of change, so you think about them not being here anymore.”
