Shakira takes Global Citizen stage by storm with steamy performance

Shakira, who is notable for her globally hit tracks, gave an electric performance as one of the headliners of the Global Citizen Festival in Central Park.

The 48-year-old singer was hailed as an ageless beauty as she performed some of her iconic dance steps during the live show.

For her set, the Waka Waka hitmaker decided to done a sheer dress, flaunting her toned abs as she danced and sang at the same time.

Apart from her, other artists including Cardi B, Tyla, Ayra Starr, Mariah the Scientist sent the audience in to a frenzy with their sets.

On the other hand, the online community also reacted to the videos from the musical festival that went viral on the internet.

One of the X users noted that “those hips don’t lie,” while another gushed: “Shakira doesn’t age?”

A third fan pointed out that the songstress “has been killing it over the years and it doesn’t look like she’s stopping anytime soon.”

Is Shakira touring right now?

This is evident from her ongoing tour which is over 300-day long journey that started in February 2025 with first concert in Brazil and is scheduled to wrap in December 2025 in Argentina.

However, Cardi B headlined the show with her pregnant belly after releasing her new album Am I The Drama?, singing Bodak Yellow and Outside on stage.

The 32-year-old is also expected to be going on a tour soon which begins in February next year.
