Machine Gun Kelly, best known for blending rap and rock, is taking fans on a nostalgic ride as he marks five years since the release of his career-defining pop-punk album Tickets To My Downfall.

The album, featuring Halsey, Trippie Redd, Blackbear, Iann Dior and Yungblud, hit No.1 on the US Billboard 200, cementing MGK’s shift from rapper to rock star.

The 35-year-old star, whose real name is Colson Baker, has revealed that five previously unheard tracks from the 2020 recording sessions are currently being mixed and will be released “as soon as possible”.

The American rapper announced the news on Instagram, writing: “Five years ago pop punk came back to life… we have five unreleased songs from that era being mixed right now to release asap, a coffee book, merch, a tour, and more. Tickets To My Downfall I love you.”

MGK is also planning a coffee table book, new merch, and a special tour to mark the anniversary.

Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, who co-produced the record, sweetly commented: “Our baby is 5 years old.”

Notably, the news comes as the Good Mourning star gears up for his mammoth Lost Americana world tour, which kicks off in Florida this November before hitting Europe, the UK, and Australia in 2026.
