Doja Cat has officially ditched the heavy rap vibes of her 2023 album Scarlet and strutted straight back into the glittering world of pop with her brand-new record Vie.

The 15-track project dropped on Friday, September 26, and it’s already causing a stir.

Fans were quick to spot the only feature on the album, a reunion with SZA, her Kiss Me More partner-in-crime.

Notably, the pair team up once again, sparking hopes of another chart-topping anthem.

Leading the charge is Jealous Type, the synth-heavy single Doja performed at the 2025 VMAs, where she brought out none other than saxophone legend Kenny G for a dazzling live moment.

The 29-year-old rapper has delivered a record brimming with romance and shimmering 80s-style pop, reminding listeners of her breakout hits like Say So.

Moreover, the songstress revealed in a chat with Apple Music that working with star producer Jack Antonoff was a “deeply personal” experience.

“It was about grappling with something new in my life while creating something fresh,” she said, adding that Antonoff has been “a wonderful person to work with.”

To celebrate, the pop powerhouse is gearing up for her Ma Vie World Tour, with dates confirmed across Asia, Australia, and New Zealand.

And with an SNL performance lined up for 4 October, UK and US fans are crossing their fingers she’ll add more shows soon.
