LeAnn Rimes has canceled multiple upcoming concerts because of her allegedly severe health issues after receiving a COVID infection.
The 43-year-old singer announced in her Instagram Story on Friday that she has to reschedule the next week's show.
This comes as a result of being re-diagnosis with covid leading to severe laryngitis confirmed by a visit to her doctor.
For those unversed, Laryngitis is the inflammation of the voice box (larynx), causing a hoarse voice or temporary voice loss due to irritated, swollen vocal cords.
The How Do I Live crooner has rescheduled her performance in Waukegan, Illinois, and Wilmington, Ohio, to November 6 and 7.
In a note, "It breaks my heart, having to reschedule these shows. There is no place I would rather be next week than celebrating with all of you," she penned.
She went on to explain, "However, this is sadly out of my hands until I get this under control."
Earlier this week Rimes had announced the cancellation of two other shows because of illness.
On April 29, she wrote on Instagram that she cannot travel and do this week due to severe illness.
"I'm sorry to share that the upcoming shows in Spokane and Seattle will be rescheduled," she noted.
The I Need You hitmaker also promised her fans that they will be seeing her soon. Rimes has not declared any other canceled dates.
Ticket purchasers to the affected performances were advised to retain their tickets to rescheduled performances.
No additional health-related information has been disclosed by the Grammy-winning artist.
