Madelaine Petsch is no stranger to internet users leaving poor or negative reviews of her work on social media platforms, and she has a strategic approach to deal with the negativity.

In a conversation with People, she stated, "You kind of can’t avoid them on social media. It’s going to show up on my 'For You' page on TikTok, or my producer’s going to send it to me. It is what it is."
Madelaine also added, "At the end of the day, what’s most important is that I’m proud of my performance. That’s literally the only thing I can control.”
The 31-year-old noted that she is proud of her work in the latest addition of the horror movie, highlighting that the best movies are polarizing and create a divide, which is what makes art and films so interesting.
Madelaine revealed that all of the characters she has portrayed resonate deeply with her, and leave a lasting impact on her as well.
