Taylor Swift’s chart-topping and industry dominating status has allegedly made Robbie Williams push the release date of his album to next year.

The Better Man actor’s album BritPop was supposed to arrive in autumn of this year, but fans who preordered the record have received an email with the news that because of scheduling conflicts, his album will now come out on February 6, 2026.

A report by The Sun credits the delay to the Better Man singer’s massive fanbase, which is sure to break streaming records every time she drops a new album.

“Taylor is undoubtedly the biggest artist in the world right now and her first-week sales are sure to eclipse any other artist who has released a record in recent years,” a source told the outlet.

“The sales will still be massive in the second week, so Robbie and his team decided it's better to just move the release date,” they continued.

Taylor is set to release her twelfth studio album The Life of a Showgirl on October 3rd, and the upcoming drop has already garnered significant attention and anticipation.

Meanwhile Robbie’s plans to release his next album later down the line could actually prove to be favourable, since if it hits the No.1 spot on charts, it could actually make him the artist with the most chart topping UK albums.
