Miley Cyrus sends fans wild with surprise collaboration

Miley Cyrus, widely recognised as one of the boldest voices in pop, has dropped her secret collaboration.

The 32-year-old singer, who first rose to fame as the star of Disney’s Hannah Montana, has sent fans into a frenzy with her jaw-dropping project with Fleetwood Mac legends, set to land this Friday.

The Flowers hitmaker has teamed up with Fleetwood founder Mick Fleetwood and guitarist Lindsey Buckingham for her brand-new track, Secrets.

Notably, the surprise single marks a semi-reunion for the iconic rockers, whose last studio album together was 2003’s Say You Will.

Speculation about the duet first emerged in August, when Miley’s dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, revealed that his daughter had gifted him the song for his 64th birthday.

Posting a video of himself dancing in the countryside while blasting the tune, he gushed: “For my birthday, Miley gave me the gift of music and wrote me a song called Secrets – and got my favourite musicians, Fleetwood Mac, to play on it! I love you, Mile.”

The Achy Breaky Heart star later doubled down on his pride, declaring he was “so proud” of her daughter following the release of her latest album Something Beautiful in June.

The release also comes after the songstress finally addressed her family drama, insisting she now “loves both [parents] as individuals” following Billy’s split from Tish and their high-profile remarriages.

The pop icon has even accepted her father’s budding romance with model Elizabeth Hurley.
