Pop sensation Miley Cyrus comments on Billy Rays’s love affair
Miley Cyrus’s dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, has sparked fresh romance rumours with British bombshell Elizabeth Hurley.
The 64-year-old country legend and the 60-year-old Austin Powers star have been secretly dating for the past five months.
For those unfamiliar, Billy’s marriage to Miley’s mum, Tish, ended in 2022 after almost 30 years together.
The 58-year-old film producer has since remarried, tying the knot with Prison Break star Dominic Purcell in 2023.
Far from being furious, the 32-year-old pop star has actually given her blessing to her father’s budding romance.
Speaking to The Mirror, the Flowers hitmaker, 32, gushed: “When you are younger, I think you just view your parents as mom and dad rather than individuals with feelings, with faults, with their own story.
The most important thing for both my parents is that they are happy, and it’s clear to see they both are.”
Meanwhile, the former Hannah Montana star’s ex-husband Liam Hemsworth has also moved on.
The Aussie actor recently got down on one knee for model Gabriella Brooks, who he started seeing only months after calling it quits with Miley in 2019.
The chart-topping singer and Liam famously met on the set of 2010 tearjerker The Last Song, where their on-screen romance spilled into real life.
