Kanye West and Drake’s back and forth and messy feuds are very well known and documented but the controversial rapper’s upcoming documentary will show a rarer side of the duo bonding.

The clip, which will be featured in In Whose Name, is apparently from the period of the calm before the storm in 2018, and the two rappers appear to be on good terms.

In the newly released snippet by Complex Music on X (formerly Twitter), the Passionfruit rapper could be seen smiling as he listened to the Runaway singer rap some lines from an upcoming track.

"That verse is crazy, I know what that is. I get excited about those. Damn. There's some sh*t in there,” Drake responds after hearing the verses.

The hip hop icons have collaborated in the past, but also taken digs at each other numerous times ever since they met, when Kanye directed Best I Ever Had, the Nokia rapper’s debut single.

In the years following, the two have been a part of multiple diss tracks against one another, with one of the One Dance rapper’s songs Search & Rescue, featuring a voice memo from Kim Kardashian.

When will ‘In Whose Name’ come out?

In Whose Name, the documentary is set to come out in theatres on September 19.
