Prince Harry accepts risky invitation after Meghan Markle's approval

Prince Harry made a surprise appearance in Ukraine after wrapping up his four-day successful UK trip.

According to the Guardian, the Duke of Sussex travelled to the war-hit country's capital, Kyiv, in order to extend support to wounded, sick and injured armed forces members.

He performed a meaningful task with his Invictus Games Foundation team. 

In conversation with the above-mentioned outlet, he said, "We cannot stop the war, but what we can do is do everything we can to help the recovery process."

He added, "We can continue to humanise the people involved in this war and what they are going through. We have to keep it at the forefront of people’s minds. I hope this trip will help to bring it home to people because it’s easy to become desensitised to what has been going on."

Moreover, he also disclosed that he had taken approval from his wife, Meghan Markle and the UK officials before accepting the Ukrainian government invitation due to security reasons. 

The former working royal shared, "I had to check with my wife [Meghan Markle] and the British government to make sure it was OK. Then the official invitation came."
