Cardi B, who is all set to release her new album Am I the Drama?, was called in court for cross-examination in relation to an assault case.

The 32-year-old was asked several questions in the civil lawsuit which was filed by her security guard Emani Ellis in 2020, when the rapper was pregnant.

While the staffer claimed being abused physically and verbally by the WAP hitmaker, Cardi took the stand to deny all the allegations.

When asked about embroiling in a physical conflict, Cardi completely maintained: “She didn’t hit me, I didn’t hit her… there was no touch.”

She claimed that for her “was no incident.” However, the Up crooner admitted to having a “verbal altercation.”

The rapper clearly refused spitting, sitting on the plaintiff or using the “N word” during their fiery exchange.

On the other hand, the alleged victim insisted that the incident was “super traumatizing” for her when the two had a conflict at the hospital.

According to the artist, the guard was recording her getting inside the medical building for her OB-GYN’s visit without permission.

Fans showed their support for the singer as they believe she was being filmed without consent.

Did Cardi B and her security had a fight?

Although the Bodak Yellow singer continued to refuse the allegations, Emani asserted that the rapper called her “fat-ass [expletive]…. I’m gonna get you fired, [racial slur].”

She claimed being stroke physically by Cardi and sustaining a facial injury on the accuser’s face. The Grammy winner will return to the court tomorrow for her testimony in the ongoing case.

Recently, the singer was slammed with another lawsuit for an incident from 2023 when she threw her microphone at one of the attendees of the festival. The lady ended up suing the rapper for assault and battery.
