Austin Butler and Zoë Kravitz have disclosed that they had actually interacted with each other before coming together for their big-screen debut.
The star-studded duo had met at a party hosted by The Batman actress, which allowed the pair to get to know each other in a more relaxed environment, and dust off their perceptions of each other.
In an interview with People, the Dune: Part Two actor noted of the 36-year-old, "To see Zoë as the caretaker for all her friends, that was something I hadn’t seen before. She's very maternal to all her friends. And then I started to see your sense of humor. She's surprisingly funny, and she's smart."
As it turns out, the Divergent star also did not expect the Elvis actor to have a sense of humour and thought that he would be a much more serious as a person and as a performer.
Kravitz stated of Butler, “[He's] also very, very funny. Very silly. I feel like that's what we were able to bond very quickly [over], really, really silly senses of humor."
The pair also proceeded to make light of a group chat they have with the director of their upcoming movie, Caught Stealing.
Notably, the Black Swan film maker and Kravitz apparently keep getting in fights, which Butler has to intervene and mediate in.
Kravitz said that she Aronofsky is one of her favourite directors, however he annoys her and so she annoys him back and “it's funny.”
