Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce may have announced their engagement via a simple carousel of images on their social media, but details are still spilling out from the joyous occasion.

The National Football League player reportedly asked the global popstar’s parents, Andrea and Scott Swift an important question before popping the question to The Alchemy singer.

A source dished to Us Weekly, “Travis asked Taylor’s parents for their blessing,” which is a common, pre-nuptial tradition.

“Travis is incredibly thoughtful. He had a clear vision of what he wanted. He did it almost entirely on his own. He knows her so well and what she likes — a timeless, classic, vintage touch,” another source added, referring to the netizen approved ring.

The ring has a gold band with an old mine brilliant cut diamond, a fitting description of the ring, which her beau knew she would like.

It was on full display in the Instagram post that gained millions of likes in less than an hour of it being public, with some claiming that it crashed the platform.

Notably, the August 26 post had a sweet caption, in which the star-studded couple highlighted that their union was like that of your English teacher and gym teacher getting married.
