Cardi B, set to drop her long-awaited second album Am I The Drama?, took aim at rival rappers.
The 32-year-old hip-hop artist, famed for her chart-topping hits, admitted she was fed up with the endless digs from younger stars.
Instead of celebrating the hype for her new record, Cardi found herself dealing with constant jabs from the newcomers.
While speaking to Zane Lowe on Apple Music, the WAP hitmaker said, “It’s like, ‘Damn, does drama chase me? Or am I the drama?’
’ I just really think I was born with an anointed light… Sometimes that light bothers people – maybe it’s too bright, too loud. It’s always been like this for me.”
The Bronx-born star avoided calling anyone out directly but insisted she stands in a league of her own.
: “Some b**s, I feel like they’re sophomores, and I’m a senior. And it’s like, you want to f with the senior so bad. You think you’re here with the senior. You’re not even a junior.”
“They can’t even focus on themselves. They always got to focus on me … I’m sick of it. F*** you, f*** everybody,” she added.
Though she didn’t name anyone, fans were quick to speculate she was taking aim at JT of City Girls, Akbar V, and Bia, all of whom she’s clashed with online.
Cardi B has been pregnant twice and has two children with her husband, Offset, a daughter, Kulture Kiari Cephus, and a son, Wave Set Cephus.
