Taylor Swift, who is preparing to release her forthcoming album The Life of a Showgirl, has confirmed her engagement to longtime NFL star boyfriend Travis Kelce.
Their fairytale proposal has sent fans into a frenzy, with many convinced the romantic moment was a direct nod to the singer’s Lover era.
While the location remains a mystery, Swifties were quick to note that the romantic setting strongly resembled the dreamy visuals from Taylor’s 2019 album.
Notably, the backdrop featured a lush garden, complete with a blossom-covered gazebo and cascading pink flowers.
Eagle-eyed fans were quick to spot the detail and flooded the comments section with their reactions.
“Was anyone else thinking Lover photoshoot when they saw Taylor’s engagement announcement?” one fan wrote on X, posting side-by-side comparisons.
Another admitted they initially thought new Lover promo shots had been released.
"Sobbing at how the engagement location looks like the lover album photoshoot," another commented.
Moreover, speculation soon spread, with guesses ranging from North Carolina’s Biltmore Estates to Pennsylvania’s Longwood Gardens, only an hour from the songstress's hometown.
Adding fuel to the rumours, the NFL star's mother Donna Kelce shared that she had visited both venues recently.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were first linked in September 2023 after he publicly expressed interest in her.
Their relationship quickly blossomed, becoming one of the most talked-about romances of the year.
